David Lawford

David has over ten years of real estate experience spanning acquisitions, financing and development. Prior to co-founding Aksel Development, David worked for Extell Development Company, one of the most active real estate developers in New York City. At Extell, he was responsible for assisting with the development of projects totaling over $5 billion in value, including Central Park Tower, the tallest residential building in the world. While at Extell, David gained valuable experience underwriting complex transactions and managing professional teams to bring projects to fruition. He began his career as an investment banking analyst with J.P. Morgan.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
